It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year..

 

There is nothing I love more than decorating my home for the holidays.

We got our Christmas tree a few weeks ago

{Hubby made me wait until it was December- so we went December 2nd ;-) }

and since then I have slowly made our little home an extension of the North Pole!

 

My favorite thing to pull out and set up will always be my Willow Tree Nativity Collection my mom got me years ago.

Hello Everyone!

 

I have a beautiful country couple up on the blog today.

 

I met Tara last year while teaching Pre-Kindergarten

and we got along great from the first day I met her.

 

We have very similar taste-- we both love everything country!

I was so excited when her and Ken got engaged a few months ago!

I knew there would be a gorgeous country wedding in the near future!

 

They chose the Webb Barn in Wethersfield for their wedding venue

and I think it will be just perfect for them.

Ruby's Fifth Birthday Party

 

A few weeks ago,

Country Girl Collections set up a spooky dance party

 for a special little girl.

Her family and friends were there in costume

to celebrate her fifth birthday.

 

I was so happy I could help :-)

 

We found an awesome old barn,

had dance party music and lights,

a candy table complete with Sissycakes cupcakes,

and lots of spooky decor!

Wedding Day Love for Sue & Felix

 

 A few months ago, I had the pleasure of being introduced to

a beautiful couple by the name of Sue and Felix.  I remember the message I recieved from Marisa of Sassy Mouth Photography explaining the vision that Sue had for her wedding and how it was a match made in heaven for me. Boy, was she right! Sue and I have such similar taste and were on the same page through all of the planning. We had very little time, however, it all worked out wonderfully and she had a GORGEOUS wedding day.

Sue was very specific about the floral arrangements for the centerpieces. She explained to me that she wanted it to be as if she walked into an incredible garden and picked lots of beautiful, colorful flowers. And that is exactly what I created for her.

My, oh my, did Sissycakes do an amazing job on the wedding day cupcakes & cake!
